BHEX Contracting Ltd. was formed in 2000 by two brothers, Bruce and Hugh Watt. Based in Revelstoke, BHEX owns and operates a variety of heavy equipment including a full line of tracked excavators from 4 to 40 tonnes, wheeled backhoes, bulldozers, gravel trucks, and a compactor, equipment trailers, and logging equipment. The equipment is well maintained and job-ready.

BHEX is affiliated with True North Forestry Consulting Ltd., which provides professional and technical forestry services, road location and design, digital mapping and GIS services, job site planning and management, supervision, and natural resource permitting services. BHEX maintains a network of associated contractors and is able to provide a complete solution at various scales.

Gravel & Rock Quarries

BHEX has four gravel and rock quarries situated at Galena Bay, Akolkolex, and Begbie Creek. The goal is to be able to supply and haul a variety of construction materials for our customers including engineered gravel products, sand, and rock.
